DIY Shibori Fun!

A behind the scenes look at our shibori process. 

Supplies:  Indigo Dye Kit, Buckets, Rubber Bands, Recycled Fabric (We used retired linen curtains for our first batch.)

Folding and banding the fabrics.  Torie mostly invented her own patterns but there are lots of good sample ideas floating around the internet.

Taking the prepared fabric for a nice, cozy dip in the indigo bucket.

Curing time!

Drip-drying (followed by a trip through the washing machine to set the color.)
